Selecting tariff codes for each item is unreasonably burdensome

Your service is great, but the time it takes to find the relevant tariff codes for the items I am mailing has become a huge disincentive to mailing items to our daughter in Germany. Simple items are nearly impossible to look up, and the layout of the tariff schedule leads to totally incorrect code selection. As a simple example, looking up the code for a "child's water bottle" first returned the code for "paper food containers" and on a second try, with "plastic" added to the search term, it returned a code that applied to "prophylactics." I'd suggest Parcel Monkey find someone to write software for assigning tariff codes based on simple English nomenclature or work out an arrangement with whomever the proponent of the tariff schedule is.

Doing paperwork was a pain in the butt customs code did not work otherwise price and speed of delivery where super fast.

Great Shipping Alternative

This was our first time using Parcel Monkey. It was a good experience and much more affordable than going direct to FedEx or UPS, especially at a time when the USA Postal Service had suspended services to New Zealand. We dropped off the package at a local UPS. It arrived in NZ in 5 days then took another 9 days before delivery, probably due to customs delays in NZ. There was some limited tracking on the UPS site but much more detailed and accurate on the Parcel Monkey site. We will definitely use Parcel Monkey in the future.
