items were packed to PM very high standards then delivered late,unsigned for, left in the rain all weekend! boxes broken & items spilled out.clothing wet & colours had run!I was overcharged another €150 by PM as someone opened box & broke it..put it in a larger box which was then oversized according to PM rules..& they took money direct from my card! I opened a claim but PM still not admitted liability even with proven pics & measurements! UPS who delivered them said I have proved my claim with them but PM have to submit it which they have not done in time!
I insured my items,completing an inventory,but PM will not settle claim for damaged goods as I cant show a receipt for my items..my own clothes! I was moving home from Germany to England & thought a courier option was better than me carrying 5 suitcases on my flight!
So unless you are sending brand new items with receipts of purchase don’t bother insuring anything!

I am really sorry to see that you learn in live the hazards of transport and especially the hard laws of insurance.
Indeed, I can confirm that to insure a good, you must at least be able to prove its value by an invoice.
No insurance company reimburses on a declarative basis.
Furthermore, as far as packaging is concerned, you have obviously read the packaging conditions and yet your package seems to have experienced several hazards.
I am sorry that your shipment went so badly and we sincerely apologize.
